Chaperone National Convention

TeenPact National Convention gathers over 100 Chaperones from all over the country to experience the largest TeenPact Event of the year. Chaperones at National Convention can experience the event fully, participating in worship, sessions, free time activities, and even a Chaperone Track.

What do chaperones do at the Event?

Volunteer Roles.

At National Convention, there are several tasks each day where we need extra support beyond what our Staff Team can provide and we need your help! From keeping time during the sports tournaments to answering student questions at the Information Desk, and so much more, we need volunteer support and would love to know which areas you would be interested in. For more information or to volunteer, visit Sarah Stanfill and Tiffany Minyard outside the Dining Hall during lunch, or check in at the Information Desk to sign up to assist.

Dorm Support.

Chaperone housing at National Convention is consistent with many of our Residential Camps at State Classes. Chaperones stay in a room in a hall with students of the same gender to provide additional adult supervision during the time in the dorms. Chaperones will typically be housed in a room with another chaperone, which may be in a suite with hall leadership or a room of students.

Chaperone Activities.

Throughout the week, chaperones are invited to special events and breakouts designated for parents attending the event. Join other chaperones for morning coffee, a welcome social, and a Chaperone Track to discuss the sessions together.

Participating in the Event.

When chaperones are not volunteering for a task, we invite them to participate in all event activities. chaperones are welcome to vote in elections, participate on sports teams, and fellowship with one another.
